Rachel Hagan

Rachel Hagan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri.  She holds a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University, and brings over ten years of clinical experience to Change, Inc.

Rachel is intuitive, approachable, and interactive.  Her counseling style fosters a real sense of safety and ease in people, informed highly by her belief that each person’s process is laden with unique life experiences that must be fully respected and understood.   Across individual, group, and family modalities, Rachel has experience with issues related to trauma and complex PTSD, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, gender and sexuality (inlcuding LGBTQ+), and life transitions.

From Rachel:

“The choice to reach out for help is often one of the most difficult.   But once made, it allows us to begin a new way of connecting that paves the way to change beyond what can be achieved through our normal, daily interactions. We all go through difficult situations in our lives when we feel stuck or are struggling to find our voice or identity. Counseling supplies an empathic and non-judgmental foundation for you to find whatever it is you’re looking for.  I can’t wait to help you along your way.”

A Favorite Quote from Brené Brown:

“If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can’t survive.”
